Qatar Project Management Company (QPM) has been Awarded ISO 31000:2009 Enterprise Risk Management Compliance Certificate by Bureau Veritas.
ISO 31000:2009 is an international risk management standard. The standard provides guidelines, principles, framework, and a process for managing risk. The application of these guidelines can be customized to any organization and its context regardless of the size, activity or sector.
QPM has regularly demonstrated its commitment towards strengthening risk management processes and in establishing benchmarks in the industry on par with global leaders. This will further strengthen our efforts towards building a robust organization, with demonstrated and superior risk architecture and one that's fully geared towards Qatar's National Vision 2030" said Mr. Mohamed Al Othman (CEO of Qatar Project Management).
The Company has put in place a comprehensive risk management system to promote an innovative culture with the proper understanding of risks, to add sustainability to all the activities of the organization and to ensure adequate profitable growth which itself minimizes enterprise risks.
Last June 2018, QPM has successfully instigated the transition of its existing management systems to the requirements of the new ISO standards ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System).
