QPM is committed to promoting sustainability. Concern for the environment and endorsing a broader sustainability agenda are part of our corporate business strategy and professional conduct. We aim to follow and promote good sustainability practice, to reduce our environmental impacts and to help our clients and partners do the same.
Values
QPM’s Sustainability Policy is based upon the following principles:
- To comply with, and exceed where practicable, applicable legislations, regulations and codes of practices.
- To integrate sustainability considerations into all our business models and decisions.
- To ensure that staff are fully aware of our Sustainability Policy and are committed to implementing and improving it.
- To minimise the impact on the environment for all our activities.
- To make clients aware of our Sustainability Policy and assist them in adopting mutually beneficial initiatives and solutions
- Assign clear roles and responsibilities and allocate adequate resources to our sustainability program.
- Articulate our shared values, and wherever possible, establish clear metrics and use them to track our improvements
- Foster a work culture that demands continuous improvements by empowering employees to practice sustainability principles on a daily basis through adequate education and training, and by creating a workplace with a supportive culture in which our environmental sustainability efforts are regularly discussed, and opportunities for improvement are sought out, shared and implemented when possible.
- Integrate sustainability principles in conduct of our business in accordance our code of ethics.
- Include a copy of our Sustainability Policy in all our proposals to clients.
- Provide support and assistance to organization that are focused on research and participate in Regional and International events and exhibitions promoting Green Architecture, Zero Carbon foot prints and other sustainability initiatives.
