Mr. Adel Al-Darbasti
Mr. Adel Mohammed Al Darbasti, Chief Operations Officer, holds more than 20 years of successful diversified experience gained from national scale engineering programs that include real estate, nationwide infrastructure and more. Throughout his career, he managed to establish and develop professional relationships with local, regional and global networks in the industry.
Prior to joining QPM, Mr. Adel was the Chief Development Officer of Qatar Real Estate Investment Company (Al Aqaria) where he was responsible in formulating and implementing business strategies for the organization. Mr. Adel was instrumental in leading the design and development of the business strategy and business planning functions in line with the overall corporate goals.
In parallel with his work in strategy and planning, he was also focused in developing and executing the strategic plan to achieve sales targets, expanding the customer base, negotiating multi-million dollar contracts and managing the delivery of multiple mega-scale projects from conceptual design to final completion.
Mr. Adel acquired his Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering from University of Miami, Florida, USA. In addition to this, he also holds an Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations and Value Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management, Cambridge, USA.
