Job Purpose:
To manage the Systems Assurance (including Safety, RAM, Fire & Life Safety integration and EMC safety related issues) activities, with the focus on the delivery of Qatar Rail’s Long Distance projects in accordance with Qatar Rail System Assurance requirements, in order to ensure the delivery of an integrated Railway network fit for acceptance by Qatar Rail and the Safety Regulatory Authority within the Ministry of Transport (MoT).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree essential.
Experience:
• Proven experience in a similar System Assurance role in large scale Rail projects with Civil, MEP and System background, with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
• A good working background of Rail Industry from developed Countries including experience in RAMS and acceptance / approval processes is essential, minimum 10 years.
• Thorough knowledge of Common Safety Methods and EN50126, EN50128, EN50129 and EN61508 is essential.
• Knowledge of software (safety critical systems related) would be a distinct advantage.
