In line with the initiative led by QPM Administration Department for In-house Training for QPM's staff, the department conducted a preparation training course for Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) exam. The course was held at QPM HQ from 20 November to 2 December 2017.
The training objective was to qualify the participants on how to identify, analyze and address the project risks through calculating the probability of occurrence of the risk and the impact of risk in the event of the occurrence. Also discussed the impacts of these identified risks on the business of the company or the objectives of the project, as well as knowledge of ways to address the negative risks and benefit from the positive opportunities.
The course aims at preparing the company's employees for the PMI-RMP exam certification. In addition, participants will be able to develop project risk management plans and update risk registers. The course also aims at assisting participants in carrying out qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to implement the appropriate risk response.
The PMI-RMP certification is one of the world's significant professional certificates awarded by the PMI. PMI-RPM certified professionals are considered as highly qualified risk specialist who is capable of professionally managing risks in projects.
The course was presented by Eng. Waleed Abdul Rahman, expert in risk management. The session witnessed a positive interaction and satisfaction of the participants.
The trainees expressed complete satisfaction with the methodology utilized in the training sessions as well as the knowledge they have gained during the course.
